     a-a-p-user-request@lists.sourceforge.net

Sending a message

Before sending a message to the maillist you must subscribe first. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the responses. And this avoids spamming.

Send the message to a-a-p-user@lists.sourceforge.net or a-a-p-develop@lists.sourceforge.net. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Please do not send HTML messages to the lists.
  • Keep it short, don't annoy subscribers with irrelevant stuff.
  • When responsing to a message, only quote relevant parts, delete the rest
  • Small patches and files can be included (up to about 50 Kbyte). Make larger files available for downloading and put the URL in the message.
  • Do not send a message to both the developer and user list, unless you are very sure everybody must see it (e.g., an important announcement).
  • Send a message directly to a group of persons when you know they are the only ones who want to read it.
